Jean Hacklander Jenkins grew up on a Wisconsin farm where she played an integral role in helping her family establish Hadaya Arabians.   From an early age she had a great love for the beauty of the Arabian horse and for art.  She now greatly enjoys expressing both of those passions in drawing and painting.  In her artwork, what inspires her most are the quiet, un-posed moments in which the individual spiritual nature of subjects can be appreciated and expressed.
